Valery Stephanovich Vashchenko is a character in AMC's Fear the Walking Dead. He is a trapped cosmonaut in space after the whole entire earth succumbed to the fall of the outbreak.

Backstory
Nothing is known about Valery Stepanovich Vashchenko other than he was a Russian Cosmonaut working for Russia.
Season 3
"Children of Wrath"
When Victor Strand desperately tries to contact someone on The Abigail. Valery answers on to Victor, he explains that he's a trapped cosmonaut in space when the outbreak started, he then explains that the infection is global and it's seems that humanity will die soon including him as there is no way out of space for him. Victor and Valery have a brief cover station before their radio were cut shortly.
Valery, between the seasons of 3 and 4, Valery most likely died in space.

- This is the first character to be trapped in space in the either FtWD or The Walking Dead.
