Rosarito Beach Hotel

The Unnamed Hotel is a location in Fear The Walking Dead. It appeared in the Season 2b Comic-Con trailer.

The exterior of the hotel

Pre-Apocalypse

The hotel is a multistory building which appears to be located in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, judging by the amount of buildings surrounding it. During the initial stages of the outbreak, the hotel was hosting a wedding reception.

Post-Apocalypse

After the outbreak, the hotel was barricaded by either the hotel staff, the wedding guests or the hotel guests (or a combination of all three). The effort of barricading the hotel appears to have been in vain though.

When Victor Strand, Madison Clark et al make entry to the hotel, they find the front door barricaded. They find the lobby empty and the sagging remains of a wedding cake. When Alicia Clark and Ofelia Salazar explore the upstairs hallways, they find them strewn with clothes and luggage and witness a person falling from the floors above them (it is unknown was this an infected who had walked over a balcony railing in order to reach prey or a living person who had been thrown off or who was committing suicide). Victor and Madison witness the impact.

Later, Victor and Madison become trapped in the hotel bar by the reanimated wedding guests.

It can be assumed that both Alicia and Ofelia were also attacked by the infected, as Alicia is seen jumping into a lift shaft and using the lift wires to escape from the dead.
