I read the article, it seemed like it gave away too much, I was looking forward to be suprised by the turn of events, especially after a year passed. I did not even see the preview.
I am curious about the Garrett Dillahunt character, I seen this guy in a lot of shows (4400, Terminator- Sarah Connor Chronicles).
PS: If you get a chance, I just saw Trust- JP Getty, the richest man in the World, Even though he was American, he was quite the Anglophile, he purchased Sutton Place outside of London. It centers on the kidnapping of his grandson and the excesses of wealth. I really like the contrast between the Traditional English Estate and the Italian countryside.
Also, are you going to watch Suits anymore, since the two main actors J.Patrick Adams and Meghan Markle are leaving the show. The press seems to be giving Meghan a hard time for marrying Prince Harry- short shoulder dresses, broken home, her "low class background", biracial ancestry. What are your thoughts on the monarchy? Antiquated Institution? Or is it still relevant in the 21st century?
After some careful thought, I'm going to overrule Marcus and bring this dispute - and any discussions about it - to a close. I hope that you'll read this and make a considered and thoughtful choice.
Editing a wiki is a hobby, it's supposed to be satisfying and fun. We get to build something useful, learn some stuff and share our interest in the show and the genre as a whole. It's not meant to be, and shouldn't be, a source of worry and tension.
I think you can do one of three things:
You could just not edit here anymore. Please don't do this, you're the number 4 editor here and we can't afford to lose anyone who is as invested in the show and the wiki as you are.
You could drop this matter, as I'm going to. I will not be discussing it, or even referring to it again. Write an article. Write two. Stick around, enjoy the new season, welcome the new contributors and readers we're probably going to get because of the crossover, and have fun.
Please don't just try continue the discussion, because that will result in an immediate block. This is the worst option, it's something that happens to people who delete stuff at random or leave sexual comments in articles - not to one of the main contributors. This is a small community of editors and we just don't want to lose you.
So. Option 2 please.
Ok, enough of that. I'd like to get back to enjoying it, and building something that people find useful and can rely on.
The new season's about to start, new characters, probably new locations, new showrunner(s!), new cinematographer, maybe even a zombie or two. Oh, and Crazy Morgan as well. This is probably going to be the best season ever of ftwd and some who've seen the previews are saying it's better than TWD. It certainly doesn't look as if it will be boring.
Nemo, for the sake of clarity, I am going to say: I agree with Reginald on this. Reginald may have said he was overruling me, but he did inform me and I had no issue with it. I was hoping to avoid this, but the constant pestering has led us to this moment. From your work, you are a great editor, and a consistent one. Please, for everyone's sake, let whatever issue you have die. Enjoy the wiki. Enjoy editing it and contributing to it, but please know that if either Reginald or I edit/delete/mark for deletion an edit someone makes it is not out of badness, but for the sake of the wiki and keeping it as concise and as relevant as possible.
Well, as for this site, the timeline could use a look-- as it is sort of the 'History' of the show if it is ok with you. I was just on my way over to take a look myself. As for the rest-- just keep an eye open really.
