Yes, I said untill he is seen he is left unknown but dont forget. Dave Erickson is one of the producers of FTWD, in a interview, he confirmed that Daniel is ALIVE and that he'll most likely make an appearance in S3 so I dont know why your leaving status Unknown when it was confirmed to be alive. Add the status to "Unknown/Alive" and there we go. 50/50.

True. I never thought Travis would do some of the things he did (i.e. from been a passive sort of character to beating a man to death), but then again, he had the right sort of stimuli. It's just a matter of time for Madison. She hasn't suffered any real loss since the outbreak began. Travis lost his son and his ex-wife (whome he still had a good relationship with), Strand lost the only person he loved in the whole world, Daniel and Ofelia lost a wife and mother-- Madison is having it pretty good since the whole thing began.

She has either already done some very bad things, or the writers, directors and the actor have all dropped the ball so hard it smashed.
Or they hoped we wouldn't notice. That, or they are trying to make her out to be the Carol of the series.
It sort of suits the character though, all these extremes-- I think I posted a blog about it when I first joined the wikia- about Madison and her parenting, how she went from being an over protective mother lion to hardly noticing her children, and how she would be calm, collected and the most level headed person in one scene and then, in another, suggest that they bug out of LA at night, with a riot on, the highways jammed and the power failing.
Actually, something just came to me. Remember how Madison told Strand that she thougt Nick has a "darkness inside" just like his father? What if he (Nick) was more like Madison then she wishes to admit? Someone who swings from one extreme to another (drug addict to competent post-apocalyptic survivor)? The only difference between them being, Madison has spent so long denying it, she can't handel it while Nick embraces it?
I don't want to seem like a d*ck about Celia. Everyone on this site (myself included) believe she is dead, but I was looking for more than "she is dead because she is dead." Your arguments could apply equally to Daniel Salazar, or to nearly any of the characters at some point in the series.
We SAW Chris get shot.
We SAW Thomas Abigail's corpse with the bullet wound.
We saw the victims of Celia's poison plot and the aftermath.
Do you see what I am getting at here? We could say definitively that they were dead. We had the proof there. If you had changed their status to dead when it happened, I couldn't argue, because you could say "Look at thirty minutes into episode X."
I am still an admin on this site, and I want things to be as accurate as possible, not based on personal feelings.
However, I went over to The Walking Dead wikia and posed the question about Celia. One of the admins over there was kind enough to share an article with me. It wasn't enough to change my mind as to unknown status, but it changed it enough to allow Dead status to be included.
As I said, I don't want to be a D*ick. All I want is to keep the wikia clean and as accurate as possible.
I've seen him talk about this in interview a couple of times now (and I hate the way Erickson happily drops spoilers all over the place, I remember him turning to Alycia Debnam Carey and telling her "No no, it's alright." when the interviewer asked about the WD habit of killing off major characters with no one being safe) and he says it slightly differently each time. You notice that he says "To me, he's not dead."
My impression is that first he has to convince Ruben Blades he has a decent story to tell, and then maybe Daniel will be back. I think Daniel should stay at Unknown until we see him onscreen.
