Hello Ganzfield-2. I see you have tagged several pages as Candiated for Deletion- mainly those relating to Victor Strand. Any particular reason? Innapropriate page, repeative page, a waste of space...? Just so I have a clear idea for when I am reviewing the pages and their merrit and the reasoning as to why they should remain/be gotten rid of?
Hey Ganzfield-2. Thanks for all your hard work over the last few weeks. I was keeping an eye on some of them, and as the title above suggests, one of them was the California Army National Guard. There was a part of me that was going to add the 'Candidate for deletion' tag to it, for a few reasons. One is that there is already a page dedicated to this orgainisation-- see National Guard. Another is that I have been debating for some time as to wherther or not I should merge the Nationa Guard page into the page U.S. Military.
Please take a read of these pages and see what action you wish to take.
I guess you can mark the California Army National Guard page as candidate for deletion. I never knew we already had a page about the National Guard. Also, I think you can merge the National Guard page with the U.S. Military as the national Guard is a part of the Army, considering that the Army and the other branches don’t have their own page (I think) So I guess you can do all
Belated Hello Ganzfield-2. I'm Marcus, the admin round here. I like to drop in on all new contributors and leave a personal, non-automated message to welcome them. I've been taking a look at your contributions and to thank you for your great work.
There are just one or two little ground rules I like to go over with everyone so that we can avoid confrontations/edit wars/abusive behavior (there have been a few users banned, even when knowing these rules).
One) If a page you create is marked 'Candidate for Deletion', it's because it is felt it is no real relevance for it. I will notify you if I put a page you created is marked as such. The page will not be deleted immediately. I have what I call the three day rule- you will have three days to put forward a case as to why you think the page deserves to be preserved. (We once had a user try to justify two pages- one dedicated to OxyContin and the other to some rare viral infection that mimicked the symptoms of a zombie infection). If you think a page should be deleted, mark it as such and let me know.
Two) Some things are a little different over here compared to the Walking Dead wiki. Case in point, the status of Celia Flores is considered 'Unknown' over here. We are all pretty sure she is dead, but, as I stated at the end of out epic edit war, we saw no signs of her body in the cellar, nor any sign she was attacked (blood, body parts etc) and there were some avenues for escape (however unlikely they may seem).
I think that is all for now. If there is anything else, I will keep in touch. Chat later.
