Melissa Geary is a character in AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. She appears in the episode We All Fall Down, and is portrayed by Catherine Dent.
Biography
Season 2
Melissa is introduced in the episode We All Fall Down, when she signals to The Abigail from the window from her house. She, her husband George Geary and their children have lived on Catrina Island for several years.
She welcomes the survivors from the Abigail into her home and begins a fledging friendship with Madison Clark. It is later revealed that there is a large swarm of infected on the island and that Melissa's reason for signaling the Abigail was to try and get her children off the island as she was concerned about their welfare.
Her concerns were proven right when her daughter, Willa, accidently takes a poisoned pill and dies. Will then re-animates and attacks her mother, biting her on her neck.
Death
- Killed by her zombified daughter Willa Geary.
- Put down by her oldest son Seth Geary on the Catrina Island jetty.
