This Marine Base is a location in Season 3 of FtWD.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
This base served the United States Marine Corps as a storage depot. It is a large facility, with large cement fortifications surrounding the perimeter and has a number of supply warehouses and barracks within its confines.
Post-Apocalypse[]
It is unknown what happened to the Marine Corps personnel stationed at this base- whether they went AWOL (Absent Without Leave), were turned or went rogue. However, at some point, Jeremiah Otto and his Survivalist Organization established a presence on the base, scouring the base for fuel and supplies. Troy Otto and several members of the organization were posted on-site and were conducting human experiments to gauge the duration of time before a corpse becomes reanimated. This is where Nicholas Clark and Luciana were taken after he attempted to cross The Border into the United States and where Travis, Madison and Alicia were transported to after they were captured by members of the survivalist organization posing as military.
The base is eventually overrun by a horde of walkers that breach the perimeter via the underground tunnels.
Trivia[]
- The assumption that this base served as a USMC base comes from the fact that a USMC (United States Marine Corps) flag can be seen hanging in the office where Troy Otto meets with Madison Clark and Alicia.
