Guardsman #1 is a character in Season 1 of AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. He is portrayed by Panou in the episode "The Good Man".

Background[]
This guardsman is a soldier in the National Guard stationed at the medical facility. He is stationed at one of the lookout posts, North of the facility.
Season 1[]
The Good Man[]
This guardsman and another are stationed on the lookout post during the night. The two guards are speaking to each other, when a man they think is infected at first walks to the gate. The other guard thinks it is an infected, however this guard tells him that the dead don't use tools, as he is holding a flashlight.
The guards makeshift tower collapses.
They tell Daniel Salazar it is a restricted area, and that they will shoot if he does not leave the area. Daniel tells them to save their ammunition and keeps walking. The guards are confused, but following Daniel's tail is a horde of 2000 infected. They are in panic and begin to shoot their rifles, alerting the other soldiers, bringing them all to the fence to protect the facility. When the horde put enough weight on the fence, it collapses along with their post. The two guards are brought to the ground, injured and unable to move before the infected lurch on and devour the guards.
