Nothing is known about Edgar's life before the apocalypse. It is possible he lived in Texas.
Post-Apocalypse
Edgar is first seen shopping with a shopping car looking for supplies. He is put at gunpoint by John and Morgan, which John shoots off his finger. Later, it is revealed that he is a part of The Vultures, where he is shortly after shot in the stomach by Luciana, then slashed in the head as a walker by Alicia.
