The Manawa Family[]
This is a fragmented family. Travis Manawa and Liza Ortiz were married thirteen years, had their son Christopher Manawa and have been divorced or separated for three years by the start of Season 1. Despite this fragmentation the three of them still have a strong connection.
In the SDCC Trailer we see a scene from episode 2, and them escaping from the disturbances in the city together and taking refuge in the Salazar Barber Shop (with the Salazar family) and then later making their escape, still together, in the dark. We also see them in the back of a pickup truck, episode3, again with the Salazar family apparently helping to care for Griselda Salazar.
