Charlie is a character in the Flight 462 web-series from AMC's Fear The Walking Dead. She is portrayed by Michelle Ang.
Biography
Background
Charlie is an Asian-American female in her 20s. Nothing is known about her life before the apocalypse. She was on board Flight 462 during the early stages of the outbreak.
Flight 462
Charlie boards the flight relatively late and sits just in front of Jake. She hears him talking to his mother on the phone and becomes increasingly anxious. Eventually she can't take it anymore and slams shut the blind in front of Jake's window. Throughout Flight 462 she is aware of Jake, listens to him talking behind her and occasionally looks back at him.
When Marcus feels sick and gets up to go the the lavatory Alex asks his wife Suzanne what the problem is. Suzanne becomes defensive and tells Charlie to mind her own business. Marcus, of course, doesn't come out of the lavatory and Charlie can't stop herself getting involved in the discussion about what to do. She seems to understand the risk presented by Marcus dying on the plane and then not being restrained.
When Marcus reanimates and then escapes from the cubicle he's been shut into it's Charlie who knows what to do. She tells the Sky Marshal to shoot Marcus in the head but the marshal had already used all of his ammunition, with Jake's help Alex eventually puts him down with a knitting needle belonging to one of the passengers. She later uses the knitting needle to put down Suzanne after she'd been killed by her reanimated husband.
During the last episode of Flight 462 Charlie tells Jake that she took the last standby seat and apologises; she thinks the seat she took was meant for Jake's mother.
